Job title:
Head of Performance Marketing


Location:
Unit 3, Trust Industrial Estate, Wilbury Way, Hitchin, SG4 0UZ


Office-based: Monday to Friday (5 days per week) As a start-up, we are strong believers in collaboration so we're currently five days a week within the office.


Salary:
up to £65,000 dependent on experience.


Bonus:
Quarterly performance related bonus up to 15%.


Working hours: 9.00am - 5.30pm with half an hour lunch.


Contract:
Full-time, permanent.


One Good Thing (O.G.T) is a new subscription focused hypergrowth direct to consumer food and drink brand, which is home to the world's first wrapper free snack and protein bars, with a delicious edible coating.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and commercially driven Head of Performance Marketing who wants to help spread our passion for healthy sustainable food and drink.


The role of the Head of Performance Marketing is to be responsible for the execution and optimisation of marketing communications across our digital channels - including but not limited to PPC, Display, Paid Social (TikTok, Meta, Instagram, YouTube) to drive customer acquisition and retention.


Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will focus on day-to-day campaign management and performance optimisation, meeting agreed channel KPIs, and reporting back to the wider business.


This role will work closely with the wider marketing team, to ensure all campaigns are integrated and deliver the best consistent customer journey to drive required outcomes.


This role requires high levels of initiative, curiosity, with a passion for creative thinking, problem solving and a keen eye for utilising data and trends as well as good people and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Digital campaign implementation launching and monitoring of campaigns across relevant digital channels across but not limited to PPC, Paid Social, Digital Display and SEO.
  • Lead the optimisation of all digital channels, PPC, Meta, Display, Programmatic, Social, websites whilst maximising the efficiency of the acquisition and retention budget.
  • Manage and implement an effective influencer and affiliate marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition.
  • Responsible for the management and optimisation of our integrated digital marketing ecosystem.
  • Lead the briefing and development of monthly paid digital campaigns.
  • Responsible for the optimisation of all customers digital journeys.
  • Work with wider marketing team, agencies (including UX/CRO agency) ensuring that the customer journeys are built and evolved to balance the requirements of the customer and the business.
  • Deliver a paid channel strategy that applies performance measures and insights to optimise digital ecosystem.
  • Responsible for implementing creative review and approval processes, ensuring all Performance Marketing messaging and creative meets brand requirements, working with Social Media and Content Executive to embed data driven creative approach to Performance Marketing assets.
  • Working with wider marketing team to ensure that campaign content plans are executed in line with commercial objectives and KPIs.
  • Manage short term, reactive campaign requirements to drive and deliver tactical deliverables whilst also ensuring plans align to longer term growth objectives.
  • Forecast and manage budget effectively, seeking efficiencies and growth opportunities across all channels within your remit, whilst also considering the impact on the wider marketing strategy and deliverables.
  • Stay abreast of new platform developments and encourage the usage and testing of new platform features, alphas, and betas as these become available.
  • This role will be a highly visible one, so you will be required to confidently create executive level communications, updates, and reporting for key stakeholders and Performance Marketing leaders within the business.

The Head of Performance Marketing must have:

  • Strong background managing the above digital channels.
  • Proven track record of managing multimillionpound paid media accounts.
  • You have experience building out digital marketing strategies and overseeing their delivery with attention to detail and an inquisitive approach.
  • Comfortable with Social/Google Ads campaigns and Google Analytics
  • Passionate about user centric marketing and building brand love.
  • Rigorous, organized, flexible and able to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Good feel for digital trends and innovations
  • Experience on the following platforms: Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, AWIN, GA360/GA
  • Working in a fastpaced environment and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders with the ability to be agile when faced with change.
  • Have a positive, cando attitude and remain calm
