Balfour Beatty VINCI is working with a range of organisations to design and build 90km West Midlands stretch of HS- Britain's new high speed railway.

Our work is essential to enable HS2 trains to travel between London and Birmingham as well as continue their journey up to Manchester.

It's an incredibly exciting time to join us - we're at peak construction with work really ramping up on a broad range of assets including bridges, tunnels and viaducts.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Planner within the Project Controls team .

With 13km of rural high-speed line Sublot 2B extends north from Kenilworth, through Warwickshire, Balsall Common and Burton Green to the River Blythe.

The strategy for Sublot 2B is to deliver the main structures enabling full connectivity across the two Network Rail corridor crossings – the Coventry to Leamington Spa Line and the West Coast Mainline at Carol Green – alongside supporting the mass haul of materials between sublots.

Day to day planning function of a Sub Lot.
Monitor progress against plan and review with Planning lead.
Recording of 'As Built' data.
To establish and maintain positive and effective relationships within the delivery team and sub-contractors.

Computer literacy:

• Primavera (all versions)
• Microsoft Project
• Word/Excel
• TiLOS
• Synchro.

Report writing skills.
Some experience of planning & project control services within large complex environments within the construction and engineering industry.
A working knowldege of methods of project controls, planning and performance reporting.
Knowledge of risk.
