About the role and the team
As Progression Coach, you will manage a caseload of clients, addressing their physical, emotional, social and behavioural needs; supporting them to progress towards independence.
You will also hold shared responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all clients, volunteers and staff in the service.
Please note that this job opportunity is offered as a full-time (37.5 hours a week), permanent role
with a 7 day a week rota, including waking nights and bank holidays.
About you:
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.
- Experience of working with clients with mental health and or drug/alcohol dependency issues.
- Ability to work with clients whose behaviour may be personally challenging.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships and boundaries with clients.
- Experience working in partnership with multi agency teams, including social workers, immigration and mental health professionals.
- A knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments and Support Planning.
