    Job Title: Site Supervisor
    Location: Gloucester, Cheltenham
    Sector: Construction, Utilities, Rail, Highways.
    Type: Permanent Role
    Salary: GBP30,000 to GBP40,000 per annum

    Base salary negotiable on level / relevant experience Job Purpose:

    To oversee and manage daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Supervise and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.
    • Manage and motivate site teams, ensuring effective communication and adherence to project plans.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and adherence to safety and quality standards.
    • Resolve on-site issues and conflicts, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
    • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
    • Manage materials and equipment, ensuring availability and optimal use on-site.
    • Maintain detailed records of site activities and progress reports for upper management.
    • Ensure all site personnel comply with health and safety regulations.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
    • Relevant certifications such as CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme), SSSTS, SMSTS, or equivalent.
    • First Aid certification.
    Essential Skills and Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in construction or civil engineering projects.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
    • Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
