    Tees Esk and Wear Valley NHS Trust Adolescent Mental Health Services are seeking to recruit a CAMHS Nurse/Clinician to work within the LD CAMHS service based at the Acley Centre.


    We are looking for a motivated and compassionate registered nurse/clinician with high motivation and a keen interest in continuing the improvement of our young people's care and treatment to join our multi-disciplinary team.

    The position would be with South Durham LD CAMHS service working with children and young people with a learning disability.


    This job will be well supported by the wider MDT within the service all having responsibility for certain aspects of the overall care provided by this CAMHS Service.

    Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
    Key skills in literacy, numeracy and ITQ level 2 (or equivalent)
    Post-graduate qualification in a relevant area (within agreed timescale)

    CAMHS Degree

    Significant experience working with children and young people with mental ill health in a community setting.

    Demonstrable knowledge to post-graduate level of evidence-based practice in caring for children and young people in the designated field.
    Provide effective clinical supervision, teaching, training and assessing in clinical practice.
