- Report to Sales Manager
- To produce commercial and technical proposals in response to customer enquiries.
- To discover new opportunities and contacts in targeted market sectors – There will be a bias to building contacts and projects within the Marine industry.
- Follow up quotations and close business on behalf of AMP Power Protection.
- Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Involvement in research and development and marketing
- Monitor and interact with tendering portals and report on opportunities that are of interest
- Attend meetings with the customer at their site or offices across the UK. Skills, knowledge, and experience
- Excellent communicator at all levels to negotiate best outcomes for the company
- Must be able to work individually whilst being a member of a small team.
- Tasks and priorities are allocated by the Sales Manager
- Weekly liaison occurs with other members of the Company
- Experience in a previous sales position is preferable
- Knowledge and understanding of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) would be beneficial.
- Hold full UK Driver's License.
