Our client, a US law firm with 25+ offices worldwide, is looking to expand their Energy & Infrastructure M&A team in the City.
Based in leading legal markets worldwide with a strong global Energy & Infrastructure platform that covers renewables, power, oil & gas and infrastructure, the law firm is actively looking for talent to bolster their expanding team in London.
The London renewables team offers development and regulatory advice on renewable energy matters, including wind, biomass, and waste-to-energy projects. Lawyers frequently support energy companies and investment funds. The team advises on projects across the EMEA region.
About the role:
The Energy & Infrastructure team is expanding and seeks a mid-level M&A Associate to join their team. The role involves working on innovative transactions in renewables/carbon. The ideal candidate will review and/or draft sale and purchase agreements, with experience in joint venture arrangements. Extensive experience with large corporates and funds is required; energy and renewables sector experience is beneficial but not essential.
