This role will be covering North Lancashire including Preston, Leyland, Morecambe, Lancaster and Southport.
What you'll be doing
- You will assist with providing a first class plumbing service in respect of the maintenance of all domestic sanitary appliances ie bathrooms, sinks, taps, drainage etc to all our homes, maintaining a high standard of workmanship in the homes in your area.
- Ensure that all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity and safety.
- Have good organisational skills and ability to prioritise a busy and reactive work load.
- Demonstrate a positive and flexible attitude.
- Demonstrate reliability, initiative, ability to work as part of a team and on your own.
- You will communicate with customers and colleagues effectively.
- Treating our homes with respect and maintain high standards of health and safety & reporting any concerns to your line manager.
- You will look after the equipment provided to you keeping it in clean and fit working condition.
What you'll need
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing
- A full clean drivers licence to be able to drive a Great Places Van
- Ability to work as part of a team or on your own
- Ability to manage your own time and work to deadlines.
- Demonstrate a positive can do attitude
- A flexible approach to the working day

For the purposes of our van fleet insurance you must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience with a full UK driving licence, be over the age of 21 and complete an on-line driver monitoring Assessment prior to starting your role.
If you are under 21 but with 2 years driving experience with a full UK driving licence you would be required to complete an on-line driver monitoring assessment and additional in vehicle assessment prior to starting your role funded by Great Places.
