Our client has helped a myriad of farmers and other ruralbusinesses operate in a more sustainable way by using renewable energy.

Contract Scotland has a great new opportunity for you.

Our client is looking to expand their team and knowledge with a new Site Manager to work on an exciting new project as a solar professional installing ground-mounted solar panels in Livingston.

Our client are experienced installers of Solar PV systems who offer a turnkey design, supply and installation services. Successfully helping farms and rural businesses across the central belt become more sustainable through their services.

Site Manager:

Your Duties will include

  • Daytoday site management.
  • Induction of the Contractors on site.
  • Site setup.
  • Maintaining quality control.
  • Overseeing the Contractors on site.
  • Assure that all work is carried out to company safety procedures.
  • Monitoring build costs and project progress.
  • Conducting health and safety inspections.
  • Create high morale for the workforce.
  • Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise on site.

Applicants must have the following:


  • A good knowledge of CDM.
  • SMSTS Qualified.
  • Updated CSCS card.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Civils background experience (renewable energy preferred but not essential).

What you can expect:


  • A spring start in March
  • Monday to Friday schedule (10hrs per day).
  • 56 month duration dependant on programme
  • A competitive day rate.
