We are recruiting for an Employee Benefits Consultant to join our growing team in either the Edinburgh or Glasgow office.

The role:
Employee Benefits Consultants


  • As an Employee Benefits consultant you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of risk and healthcare clients.
  • You will be focused on ensuring the client feels supported at all times, providing advice and recommendations at renewal in line with the client's requirements.
  • You also be expected to follow up on warm leads to promote the wider MMB proposition to maximise opportunities and achieve growth targets.
  • This is a clientfocused telephone based and account management role.

We will rely on you to:

  • Manage and develop an existing health and risk client portfolio
  • Secure new clients from warm leads in order to generate profitable income.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client to establish effective relationships.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure clients receive an excellent service throughout.

What you need to have:


  • Excellent communication skills, especially verbal/oral as this is a telephone based role
  • Ideally with experience from the financial services/Insurance industry
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Selfdriven and motivated
  • A desire to provide exceptional customer service

What makes you stand out:


  • Previous experience with group risk or healthcare or employee benefits products
  • Previous account management/development experience
  • Previous experience in following up sales leads successfully
