Job Title:
Nursery Apprentice


Location:
Hove, East Sussex


Salary:
National Apprenticeship Wage, £4.81/hour for first year


Full time:40 hrs per week, Monday - Friday between 7.30am and 7pm


Our client, based in Hove, is a small, family run nursery caring for children from 3 months - 5 years old.

They are looking for a Nursery Apprentice to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in childcare, whilst studying towards a national recognised qualification.


Responsibilities
The position will be to support staff caring for children aged 3 months - 5 years old.

Our setting is a home from home style nurturing environment where children learn through play and exploring activities and resources both indoors and outdoors.

We arelooking for someone who loves to get messy, creative and support children to have fun and support their development in the process


Desired Skills

  • Good level of written and verbal English
  • Good communication
  • Caring and some knowledge of interacting with children
  • Good time keeping skills
  • Good team player

Desired Personal Skills

  • Good time keeping
  • Confident to work as part of a team
  • Shows good initiative

Desired Qualifications

  • English and Maths GCSE at Level 4/C or above (or equivalent)

Prospects

  • Potential to progress to permanent role or further qualification upon successful completion of apprenticeship
