We are partnered with an investment bank who are looking for an IT Technical Support to provide both operational and technical support across their hardware and software core infrastructure.


This is a hugely exciting opportunity to work within a diverse IT environment to learn and develop a full range of technical assistance skills.


Salary:
£55,000 - £65,000 + excellent benefits and bonus


Location:
London


Remote/Agile working model - 3 days in office per week

As an IT Technical Support, you will:

  • Carry out technical support, maintenance/upgrade, and administration on all the bank's systems and interfaces
  • Manage and escalate any core banking functional and system issues
  • Maintain hardware to ensure system and users get the maximum benefit
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors for Business Requirements and system upgrades
  • Assist in IT and Cyber Security Manager in system vulnerability patching cycle

A successful IT Technical Support applicant will have:

  • Worked with Azure, VMWare, Citrix and Sharepoint
  • Strong experience in supporting IT Systems across an Azure or IaaS environment
  • Exposure and knowledge of patch management
  • Experience working in financial services or a desire to learn about banking
  • An ability to work effectively in a busy, teamoriented environment
