Description
The successful applicant will work primarily within the 2 week wait skin cancer pathway in Plastic Surgery.


The practitioner role is to provide independent advanced clinical assessment and management of patients from referral to discharge, diagnosis and beyond.

This role involves working independently of medical staff or with remote assistance.


This post will include triage of skin referrals from General Practitioners (GPs), communication directly with GPs, outpatients' clinics for new referrals, diagnosis clinics and aftercare or follow up, treatment room and minor surgical sessions.


This post holder will also support the team of clinical nurse specialists, assist with ward rounds and complex wound support.

The practitioner will provide senior clinical and non-clinical leadership to the team.
