Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Your role will be to work with our customers to deliver Mainframe/Core enterprise projects from complex transformational requirements, using your knowledge, skill and experience.
  • Working on exciting projects ranging from Mainframe traditional through to integration and migration supporting public and private Cloud based engagements.
  • As a Mainframe Security Expert you will consult with our clients on how to improve their security posture and help them to remain complaint.
  • You will work with a diverse team of Kyndryl technical experts to deliver projects that will help our customer's businesses make use of the latest features of Mainframe Security tooling.

This is a Mainframe Security role that provides a fantastic opportunity to operate in an agile squad to address a diverse mix of large and complex client projects.


Who you are.
Are you confident in working with Project Teams and clients to understand the Customer's business and requirements?

Do you have a desire to challenge and succeed?

Do you have experience in z/OS for mainframe platform support and a deep knowledge of RACF? Have you experience in administering and setting up complex RACF systems and structures, including integration with subsystems such as CICS, MQ and DB2? Do you have experience setting up and administering digital certificates?

Do you have experience with Pervasive Encryption, including setting up and managing encryption keys?

Do you have knowledge of the various Compliance standards and Regulatory requirements for IT systems, such as the ITSS, PCI-dss, SOX etc?

Do you have experience with performing or supporting IT Audits or Security Reviews?


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • RACF expertise.
  • Knowledge of ACF/ z/OS operation system knowledge.
  • Experience with at least four of the following TWS/Controlm, DB2, IMS/CICS, JES2/3, FTP, REXX, TCP/IP.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • General mainframe batch administration
  • Expertise in TSO, ISPF, SDSF, TWS/Controlm, DB2, IMS/CICS, JES2, FTP, JCL, REXX, TCP/IP.
- zSecure, Vangard.

  • ACF/2 expertise.
  • Problem, Incident and change management disciplines.
