    Role: Patination, Finishing and Wiring Technician

    Hours: 40 hrs per week

    As a Patination, Finishing and Wiring Technician T3, you will be developing your understanding of metal finishing processes with a natural ability for practical manufacturing processes involved in the finishing of high-quality interior products such as furniture and lighting. Each member of the technical finishing team is expected to be adaptable and

    inventive, learning and developing the variety of processes and finishes as per the Cox London house style.

    You will be expected to work within the tasks provided as per the costs applied to each individual job brief. To be successful in this role, you will need to be self-motivated towards learning new techniques for custom finishes and bespoke orders. Each project assigned to you will be required to be finished within a reasonable time frame and within specification, meeting with the client's needs and the company's high standards. Your goal is to maintain a quality service provided to customers by upholding company standards, values, and behaviours.

    Key Responsibilities Include

    · Practice, learn, develop, and perfect metalwork processes such as required within Cox London workshops, specifically within the Patination, Finishing and Wiring Team.

    · Operate and keep records as required within company HR and Production software systems: Hibob and Emax.

    · Participate in team and inter-departmental meetings, contributing to the conversation with an aim for positive solutions.

    · Attend technical and safety training sessions.

    · Assist with on-site and off-site installations.

    · Employing safe working practices during operation of equipment, notifying the need for repairs.

    · Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment, upholding company H&S Policies.

    · Show respect for company property, materials and consumables ensuring waste is kept to a minimum and shortages reported.

    · Contribute to a happy, efficient, and co-operative production team, fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between teams, departments, and your colleagues.

    Knowledge and Experience

    · Technician 3: Learning the role/ less experience, technical skills and knowledge gained through training and experience - up to 3 years. experience post training (aim 10,000 hours to become experienced)

    Qualifications (Desirable)

    · A professional qualification in manufacturing or art and design.

    Or

    · A college certificate in metal work finishing processes, or university degree within arts or other similar qualification.
