- Driving product development and steering design decisions
- Managing time to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Communicating progress and challenges with engineering management
- Degree (or HND) educated within a relevant Engineering subject.
- Previous experience of developing new products
- Knowledge of LVDT's or solenoid type products advantageous
- Understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, soldering, welding and brazing
- Materials knowledge

Development Engineer
We are looking for a Development Engineer to join our Christchurch site
In this role you will be working in the design engineering team, supporting IRAD (internal research and development) and NPI (new product introduction) for solenoid products for commercial and military Aerospace applications.
The ideal candidate for this role will be highly motivated and have experience of the developing products from low TRL (technology readiness levels) to a maturity required for NPI programs. The candidate should have a good combination of materials knowledge, testing and manufacturing to help steer the design, and will be experienced of using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logging software and other testing equipment.
