Experience of maintaining manufacturing and production equipment?

Proven multi-skilled experience?

We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join the existing team of our highly regarded client.


You will be responsible for working with the wider team to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a timely and organised way.

They have a comprehensive system in place to lead the planned maintenance schedules and you will also be carryingout reactive repairs as and when required.


This role will be based within a business that works within a regulated environment and you will be working in controlled clean rooms so you must be happy with working in full PPE and be willing to work in a process led environment.


Key responsibilities:


  • Investigate equipment and plant failures and carry out relevant repairs in a timely and quality focused manner
  • Work with other departments to determine the best route of repair to minimise impact and machine downtime
  • Attend reactive repairs and manage the planned maintenance schedules
  • Work within a regulated environment and ensure that all documentation is carried out to regulatory standards
  • Ensure that all processes are carried out according to SOP's
  • Assist with the updating and rewriting of SOP's where needed
  • Ensure that deviations are managed and root cause is investigated thoroughly
Any specific experience of working in a regulated, cleanroom or GMP facility would be of benefits but not essential. More importantly is manufacturing/production maintenance experience, your attitude and approach to work and having a quality focus to yourrepairs and maintenance


My client offers a competitive basic salary plus shift allowance and they have a large amount of overtime available which is payable up to double time.

This is a shift based position on a weekly rotating days basis of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm
