About the Role

You will be required to:

  • Develop and deliver lectures, assignments, and exams that meet the course objectives and learning outcomes.
  • Design and implement effective teaching strategies that engage students and promote learning.
  • Facilitate classroom discussions and encourage student participation.
  • Provide guidance and support to students throughout the course.
  • Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency and coherence across the curriculum.
  • Stay uptodate with developments and trends in the field of public services and integrate this knowledge into course content.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and pursue research interests that benefit the course and the students.
  • Contribute to the assessment and evaluation of the course and the program.

About You

You will have:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as criminal justice, public administration, emergency management, or fire science
  • At least 23 years of teaching experience in the field of public services or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective lectures and classroom activities
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
  • Familiarity with current trends and best practices in the field of public services
