About the Role

You will be required to:

Develop and deliver lectures, assignments, and exams that meet the course objectives and learning outcomes.
Design and implement effective teaching strategies that engage students and promote learning.
Facilitate classroom discussions and encourage student participation.
Provide guidance and support to students throughout the course.
Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner and provide constructive feedback to students.
Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency and coherence across the curriculum.
Stay uptodate with developments and trends in the field of public services and integrate this knowledge into course content.
Participate in professional development opportunities and pursue research interests that benefit the course and the students.
Contribute to the assessment and evaluation of the course and the program.

About You

You will have:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as criminal justice, public administration, emergency management, or fire science
At least 23 years of teaching experience in the field of public services or a related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective lectures and classroom activities
Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
Familiarity with current trends and best practices in the field of public services
