    Hunter Adams is working with a not-for-profit, industry owned, training organisation who are looking for a People partner to join their team.

    This is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, with an ideal start date of the end of April start of May. The role is based in Aberdeen, with a hybrid working pattern, offering a competitive salary.     Key activities may include:

    • Establish strong relationships with managers to understand business needs and provide effective HR support.
    • Serve as an expert in employee relations, handling grievances, disciplinary matters, and performance management.
    • Assist managers with staff resourcing, development, and management, including the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme.
    • Foster a culture of skills development and performance management, collaborating with managers to enhance team performance.
    • Offer comprehensive HR support, serving as the primary point of contact for people-related issues.
    • Coach and guide managers in resolving people management challenges.
    • Analyse workforce requirements and assist with employee planning and deployment.
    • Identify skills gaps in managers and provide targeted development solutions.
    • Advise managers on HR cases and oversee resolutions, escalating complex issues when necessary.
    • Lead ad hoc people projects and provide KPI reports to the Head of People and OD.
    • Demonstrate personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment standards.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and safety management systems.
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to waste regulation standards.

    We're looking for:

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Demonstrates integrity, adaptability and the ability to collaborate well with others
    • Generalist experience in all areas of Human Resource Management
    • Knowledge and experience of managing the full employee lifecycle.
    • Relevant CIPD recognised qualification or equivalent experience.
