- Establish strong relationships with managers to understand business needs and provide effective HR support.
- Serve as an expert in employee relations, handling grievances, disciplinary matters, and performance management.
- Assist managers with staff resourcing, development, and management, including the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme.
- Foster a culture of skills development and performance management, collaborating with managers to enhance team performance.
- Offer comprehensive HR support, serving as the primary point of contact for people-related issues.
- Coach and guide managers in resolving people management challenges.
- Analyse workforce requirements and assist with employee planning and deployment.
- Identify skills gaps in managers and provide targeted development solutions.
- Advise managers on HR cases and oversee resolutions, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Lead ad hoc people projects and provide KPI reports to the Head of People and OD.
- Demonstrate personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and safety management systems.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to waste regulation standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrates integrity, adaptability and the ability to collaborate well with others
- Generalist experience in all areas of Human Resource Management
- Knowledge and experience of managing the full employee lifecycle.
- Relevant CIPD recognised qualification or equivalent experience.
