West Molesey


Salary:
£23 - £26,000 PA


Duration:
Permanent

Hours:
Mon-Fri 9am to 5.30pm - Hybrid working 2-3 days in the office.


We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and reliable artworker with an excellent eye for detail to join our close-knit team.


You will work on a variety of projects primarily print based and both branded and own label, ensuring that all creative work is adapted and fit for print.

Key Responsibilities of a Creative Artworker

  • Sourcing and resizing photos or images for packaging
  • Correcting or changing colours in a design
  • Checking proofs for visual or textual errors
  • Adding text and CLP to packaging or making changes to it
  • Producing mockups
  • Archiving old files, images and design work
  • Helping with photography
Key Competencies of a Creative Artworker

  • A College or University qualification from an art/graphic related course is desirable, in order to understand basic principles of typography, colour and layout
  • Good knowledge of Adobe illustrator
  • Understanding and/or experience of print and finishing processes would be beneficial
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • 12 years' experience in a similar role
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Highly organised and able to read and understand detailed instructions
  • Can do attitude takes a proactive and flexible approach to tasks
  • Meticulous with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work alone and within a team
  • Ability to handle pressure and be able to multitask
  • Proven time keeping and efficiency
  • Committed to achieving results
  • Calm under pressure
