    Description

    H9 Human Resources are currently looking for a HR Coordiantor to join a leading manufacturing company based in manchester on a fixed term contract.

    The role will act as a first point of contact for advice and guidance to employees and line managers in relation to Company policies and procedures.

    Some of the duties are but not limited too:

    • Absence management from day one, including contacting individuals, ensuring submission of fit notes, conducting welfare meetings and referral to occupational health as required. Maintenance of Medigold (Occupational Health database) and HR systems with up-to-date employee absence information.
    • Coordinate recruitment and induction/onboarding process; create job profiles and adverts for internally and externally advertised roles, manage applications, organise interviews and responses for unsuccessful candidates, create offer packs, lead and present Company inductions and arrange online training for all new starters
    • Responsible for the time and attendance system, and all associated administration, including adding new starters, adding/amending leave and regular auditing. Produce time keeping reports to monitor attendance as required by the business and in line with attendance bonus scheme.
    • Support for line managers in disciplinary or grievance hearings, and/or investigations, ensuring adherence to procedures and that paperwork is completed in full.

    Skills Required:

    • Confidently work independently in a small HR team.
    • Experience with the industrial/manufacturing sector would be desirable.
    • Ability to build an effective working relationship with line managers and employees at all levels
    • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a busy, fast paced environment

    The role is fully on-site but does allow for ad hoc days working from home as well as flexitime. The role is offering up to £28,000 DOE.
