Estimator (Groundworks Experience) - Greater London, United Kingdom - Nohow International Ltd

We are seeking an Estimator with expertise in Groundworks projects.

The ideal candidate will be able to produce accurate cost plans and prices for a variety of groundworks projects.

This role is a hybrid role, split between working from home and Central London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings and specifications to identify project scope and requirements
• Assist in the preparation of material take-offs and pricing for labor and materials
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and pricing
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to understand project requirements
• Review and analyze bid documents to identify any potential risks or issues
• Prepare bid packages and ensure all required documents are included
• Maintain accurate records of estimates and bids
• Provide support to the project team as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Groundworks sector.
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and grow in the construction industry
