Project DetailsThe client in question can offer the opportunity to work on domestic and international projects and disputes, as well as offering industry leading training & support which will enhance and develop your delay analysis skills.
The successful candidate for this Quantum Consultant job will likely come from a Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management background, having gained experience with a contractor, sub-contractor or similar specialist claims and quantum consultancy.
Assist with the preparation of claims for loss and expense and other contractual entitlements.Review and assess contemporaneous project records to establish quantum associated with claims and/or disputes
Quantum Forensic analysis of tender, contract, and claims documentation
Support the drafting of detailed expert witness reports for use in formal dispute resolution proceedings
Actively contribute to business development and supporting colleagues with project deliverables
Acting as an ambassador championing the Contract Services delivered by the consultancy in the industry.
5 years minimum experience within a Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management background, preferably with a premium, major building or civil engineering contractor / subcontractor.
Familiarity with claims and formal dispute proceedings. Knowledge of relevant applications and technologies in the quantity surveying, commercial management industry, for example BCIS, Cost-X, CEMARStrong report writing skills are essential and candidates who can demonstrate prior report writing evidence will be looked upon very positively.
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or a similar degree in constructionMaster's degree in applicable construction specialism, highly preferable a construction law LLM or similar.
