Customer Service Assistant Supervisor


A Customer Service Assistant Supervisor role has been created to assist the Customer Service Supervisor in leading a team of Customer Service Representatives as they provide support to our customers, Area Sales Managers and European Offices.

This includes order entry, answering queries, and order amendments.


Essential duties and responsibilities:


  • Assist the Customer Service Supervisor in leading the team of Customer Service Representatives.
  • In the absence of the Customer Service Supervisor, allocate tasks and resources to ensure we maintain service and balance work evenly across the team.
  • Handling incoming phone calls from all PING customers.
  • Processing orders for hard goods, soft goods, and apparel.
  • Provide support for UK Sales Representatives.
  • Process online consumer orders and liaise with the consumer on inventory/payment/voucher queries.
  • Provide support for European sales offices, distributors, and emerging markets.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of PING products, services, and the production process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential qualifications and experience:


  • A proven education record to include a minimum Mathematics and English qualification.
  • Computer Literate, experience using Word and Excel would be an advantage.

Personal qualities:


  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be confident and possess the ability to work within a team environment but also to be at ease working on their own initiative, with minimum interaction from an immediate Manager.
  • Ability to organise, schedule, and prioritise a variety of tasks for members of the team.
  • Reliable, conscientious and a team player.
  • Actively engage in the continuous development of professional knowledge.
