Material Handler Location:
West Bromwich Hours of work: Rotating 3 shift pattern
As a Material Handler you will be responsible for the safe and efficient offloading of raw materials into the company, operating Overhead Crane and Counterbalance etc.
Duties:
Operate material handling equipment such as cranes and forkliftsOffload, identify and safely store raw material in coil and flat sheet formTake responsibility for inspection goods for quality and quantityEnter traceability data into manual and/or electronic recordsEnsure good levels of 5S are maintained in the areaBe involved in continuous improvement processes 7 driving through improvements in all aspects of the roleEnsure Health & Safety procedures are followedPerforms Other Duties as assignedAll offloading of raw materials achieved in a timely manner
Candidate Requirements:
In-date counterbalance licenceExperience of operating Overhead CraneA good knowledge of material handling processesAble to work as part of a team and as an individualMotivation to beat targets safely and required quality standards Hours of work 3 shift rotation.
Days (6am-2pm)Afternoons (2pm-10pm) Nights (10pm - 6am)Rate of pay:
