My client provides an advisory service, specialising in finance related consulting for their network of clients who are based across the globe.

As an integrated team, my client shares skills, insight and resources, as well as a client-centric approachthat is based on a deep understanding of their clients' business, empowering them to move forward with confidence and realise their full potential.

My client has developed global business development tools and processes to support their internal network when tendering for opportunities to engage with large internationally active companies for a full range services, they are now in the hunt for for dynamic,highly organised and tech-savvy
Business Development Support Coordinator.

The team of specialists develop, maintain and implement tools and processes across the business development toolkit.

In addition, my client supports the network in executingRequests for Proposals, including coordinating regional activities, scoping work, compiling fee quotes and other materials for proposal documents including biographies of key personnel, service and firm descriptions.


THE ROLE
Working on a truly global scale within a lovely team, supported by a super Manager who is committed to developing employee skills and careers, your remit in the role overall will be to support the activities of the global business development team, typicaltasks will include:

  • Work with the Business Development Senior Manager to support and manage global tenders
  • Manage the provision of access for global team members to the online SharePoint resources and global pursuit sites
  • Support and train new users in the use of the online tools and processes
  • Review the functionality and effectiveness of all webbased tools, and help with the testing and implementation of new features
  • Conduct and distribute company research for global tenders
  • Oversee and assist with the population of the online pricing model for global tenders to build timely global fee quotes
  • Review fee rates using agreed assessment criteria and analytical tools
  • Prepare foreign exchange rates in our online pricing model
  • Support with bid information, including CVs, global facts & statistics and industry information
  • Monitor the progress of all global opportunities with Global Engagement Leaders
  • Record company information and results of pursuits, managing the global pipeline PowerBI reports
  • Perform data analysis on pursuit data to better understand trends and outliers
  • Attend global tender calls and draft summaries of discussions
  • Support the communications on global tenders
  • Assist with the logistics and preparing materials for global business development training courses

THE PERSON:


  • Numeracy strong numerical and analytical skills, with high degree of proficiency using Spreadsheets and other software to analyse data.
  • Literacy strong English language written and oral communication skills, with experience dealing with colleagues from around the world.
  • Organisation organisational skills, able to prioritise a varied workload and work to deadlines.
  • Technology comfortable with common business software packages, and preferably experience with SharePoint, Power BI or similar software.
  • Diligent conscientiousness in delivering high quality work to required timescales.
  • Ambition a fast learner with a strong desire to become a business development professional.
  • Commercial understand some of the commercial realities and dilemmas involved in professional services
