    Senior Communications & Marketing Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • develop and deliver accurate and compelling internal communications to support execution of Group strategy with key internal stakeholders (operational leadership, functional leadership, sector leadership, professional staff, operatives), employing the full range of internal communication tools and techniques
    • and manage the corporate communications officer ensuring delivery, engagement and development against key performance metrics
    • for developing and delivering an appropriate internal communications strategy and delivery plan that positions the Group as an international engineering enterprise across targeted sectors and markets.
    • internally the Group's Health and Safety (Mission Zero) and sustainability ("Protect Health / Prevent Harm) agendas with key audiences
    • and lead employee engagement campaigns to support business improvement, positioning Keltbray as an employer of choice.
    • and lead communications to build understanding and support for Keltbray's Unique Business Offering (UBO), covering leadership in digital engineering, Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA), Engineering Consultancy and integrated self delivery.
    • manage and deliver appropriate communications for specific business change and transformation programmes across Group
    • and deliver appropriate content for core Group communications channels, inc. intranet/ website
    • and deliver crisis and issues communications as appropriate
    • the Group and the Corporate Centre in translating business strategy into communication messaging, activity plans and ultimately, high quality deliverables
    • relationships, and work closely, with key project teams/ functional business partners to ensure appropriateness of messaging and deliverables, specifically focussed on the construction and infrastructure operations of Keltbray
    • with brand-aligned agencies to ensure messages are integrated and aligned with overall business objectives
    • as a key interface between other functional areas (inc. HR, Finance, Commercial, CR, etc) and the communications function and draw on resources to deliver against plan
    • the business in integrating communication activity into their working practices, including communications representation on Business Unit management boards.
    • for the Director of Communications as appropriate

    Skills & Experience:

    • to degree standard or equivalent essential
    • background in Internal Communications, within a complex, matrixed business
    • experience
    • Media Relations/ Public Affairs discipline knowledge
    • team leadership skills
    • literate with strong writing and editing skills
    • business and commercial mindset
    • understanding of change management principles
    • of project communications planning and delivery
    • to manage relationships with senior stakeholders/ business partners
    • approach with a focus on the 'bigger picture'
    • project management, organisation and co-ordination skills
    • tactical communications ability – message construction, writing, editing
    • planning, budgeting and strategy formulation experience
    • understanding of Keltbray's Group business strategy, together with sound industry understanding
    • knowledge and understanding of the structures and roles across the Keltbray group (particular emphasis required on the role of Corporate Centre within a strategic business unit/ shared service/ function organisational model)
    • to operate effectively in a "virtual" team working environment
    • in supporting development of high performance teams
