- Create and execute a maintenance plan to ensure all infrastructure systems are kept up-to-date with security and software patches.
- Ensure that appropriate security controls are deployed and maintained across our network and firewalls in conjunction with the IT Security Team.
- Incident Management – responsible for technical troubleshooting. In the event of configuration changes required, must invoke the internal Change Management Process.
- Support development and implementation of infrastructure initiatives/projects
- Ensures accurate records are kept of infrastructure components, maintenance activities, network connections, accounts, and inventory by maintaining system documentation and the IT department knowledge base.
- Respond to emergency outages in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Also, provide out of hours cover for technical escalations.
- Aid in development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans and maintain current knowledge of plan executables.
