    Site and Safety Manager



    Hours – 37 hours per week, all year round

    Salary – Grade 6, SCP 15 – 23

    £25,878 – £30,151 per annum

    £ £15.63 per hour

    We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated Site and Safety Manager to join our team. This is a key role in school, as the post holder will provide efficient and effective caretaking support, key-holding responsibilities and will co-ordinate the implementation of schools' Health and Safety policies. We are looking for someone who will love the school as much as we do, taking a real pride in the appearance of our building and extensive grounds.

    Main duties include:


    • Security of the site

    • Building maintenance

    • Porterage

    • Liaising with contractors

    • Stock control and replenishment

    • Grounds maintenance

    • Taking Pride in the appearance of our Amazing School



    The successful candidate will:


    • Have high standards and take a pride in their work, ensuring that the site is maintained to an excellent standard

    • Be able to identify and prioritise their own workload, approaching all tasks with a "can do" attitude

    • Have proven DIY and repair skills enabling maintenance tasks to be undertaken

    • Be able to engage and manage external contractors

    • Have a sound understanding of Health and Safety regulations

    • Have a commitment to training and professional development
