    A Career as Unique as You Are

    An exciting opportunity has become available within our vibrant Marketing team. We are looking for an aspiring, suitably qualified professional to take on our Marketing Executive role that will offer a broad range of experiences across different disciplines within Marketing. We require a strategic thinker skilled in multi-tasking, supporting content for multi-disciplinary clusters, compromising campaign execution, copywriting, PR, advertising, print, emails and internal communications.

    Our Marketing Executive position is based in our Glasgow Head Office, assisting across 37.5 hours a week. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm daily.

    Here is how we see your role:

    • Support our Marketing Manager in executing Offline Marketing Campaigns.
    • Support the Marketing Manager and our Creative team with photoshoots.
    • Ad hoc copywriting tasks to support the team and wider Marketing Strategy.
    • Work on PR activities to grow brand awareness and presence alongside the Marketing Manager and external agency.
    • Build relationships with relevant stylists and implement Laings Dressing Strategy.
    • Manage the execution of all advertising artwork for Laings own and brand portfolio, in line with each brand's marketing strategy.
    • Brief in the creation of new creative assets.
    • Work closely with our prestigious watch and jewellery brands.
    • Assist the digital marketing team with email marketing.
    • Produce editorial and advertorial content for publications with a thorough understanding of Laings tone of voice.
    • Support on Laings activity with charity partner, British Heart Foundation, planning and executing fundraising activities and general awareness both internally and externally.
    • Support on Visual Merchandising campaigns working closely with an external agency.
    • Blogging - Content calendar created and maintained to ensure the constant flow of new, unique and engaging to assist with SEO and brand building strategies.
    • Produce monthly reports with an overview of adverts and editorials published and any additional coverage.
    • Work on projects assigned by the Marketing Manager.

    The ideal person we are looking for:

    • Educated to degree level in Marketing, Communications, Media or relevant discipline or proficient experience in a generalist marketing role.
    • Strong copywriting skills, examples of online/offline published work desirable.
    • Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn new skills.
    • Strong organisational and communications skills with the ability to multi-task efficiently.
    • A thorough understanding of customer touchpoints and a 360 approach to marketing.
    • Excellent attention to detail and a sensitive understanding of the luxury industry.
    • Team player mentality with the ability to co-ordinate with internal and external teams.
    • Experience with fashion/lifestyle influencers and/or stylists and an understanding of how to build relationships.
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, naturally able to build relationships with stakeholders in the business and brand partners.
    • Some experience in email marketing would be advantageous.
    • Knowledge of Salesforce marketing cloud is desirable but not essential.
    • Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team.
