- At least 5 years previous experience of working in an insurance claim related handling role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Personable with an understanding nature
- High level understanding of insurance/indemnity policies and legal structure
- Proven capability of claims negotiation with policyholders and Loss Assessors
- Candidates must also have: Full and clean driving

Large Loss Class Handler based in East Yorkshire: Salary of £30,000 to £40,000 plus a car allowance
Jigsaw Recruitment are working alongside a well respected and forward thinking Claims Management Company, our client is looking to recruit a Large Loss Claims handler to join their growing team
The Role:
Large Loss Claims Handlers are expected to manage a portfolio of Large Loss claims due to a result in Fire/ Flood or Escape of Water. The candidate will be expected to travel to policyholders' homes addresses 2 to 3 times a week to assess contents damage, record all loses, value and negotiate claim settlement for contents items. The candidate may also need to arrange and manage alternative accommodation for policyholders. The candidate will need to control and manage the claims spend, make authorised payments.
Knowledge and experience required:
In return this position is offering a salary of £30,000 to £40,000 with an excellent benefits package
