    Who are we?

    Ki is the biggest global insurance tech company you`ve never heard of, unless you`ve been looking to insure a satellite, wind farm or music festival recently.


    Having written over $877m in gross written premium in 2023, we`ve achieved significant growth since our beginnings in 2021. Our investors were excited about the fact we were revolutionising the way a 333 year-old industry was working. There are hardly any industries left that are mainly paper based, but the specialty insurance market is one.

    Together with partners at Google and UCL we developed Ki and created a platform that helps insurance brokers place risk in a fast and frictionless way.

    We`re continuing to lead the charge on the digitisation of this market and we need more excellent minds to work with us to realise this goal and create more opportunities.


    Purpose of the Role

    As an Actuarial Analyst in the team, you will support our reserving, commercial and strategic approach using creative actuarial insight.

    This is a multidisciplinary role, with a large stakeholder focus working across traditional and non-traditional actuarial areas.

    You will support across quarterly reserving, class level deep dive reviews, deal level pricing referrals, models and process development, business planning and strategic projects.

    Using creative thinking, innovative actuarial techniques, and data science to enhance Ki`s commercial insight, as well as our approach to Algorithmic Underwriting and portfolio management.

    Within this role you will chiefly be responsible for the development of management information, dashboards and metrics as well as supporting Actuarial Managers in maintaining relevant documentation, governance and regulatory requirements around these activities including regulatory, statutory and internal reports and returns.

    You will be continually responsible, along with the wider team, for investigating and applying emerging trends to our processes and functions.
