    Job Description
    AECOM is looking for experienced Environmental Permitting Consultants to join our dynamic team in the UK and Ireland. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the growth of our Environmental Permitting business.

    • Contribute to the delivery of Environmental Permit applications and regulatory compliance services.
    • Work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to provide environmental assessments and advisory services.
    • Advise clients on relevant legislation and industry standards affecting their operations.
    • Assist clients in developing mitigation measures and management systems for permit compliance.
    • Support clients in engaging with regulators and fulfilling permit obligations.
    • Contribute to business development initiatives to expand our permitting services.
    • Provide mentorship to junior professionals in the field.
    • Conduct quality and technical assurance checks on project deliverables.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field.
    • Extensive experience in consultancy roles.
    • Proven track record in delivering Environmental Permit services.
    • In-depth knowledge of environmental legislation and standards.
    • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Strong organizational and teamwork abilities.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Higher education in environmental or process engineering.
    • Project management and commercial skills.
    • Experience in business development and client relationship management.
    • Familiarity with environmental management systems.
    • Background in industrial sectors.
