    Our client is a global B2B software business delivering enterprise platforms to organisations operating in highly regulated environments.

    Their technology supports the management of critical content, compliance processes, and operational data, enabling customers to reduce risk, improve efficiency, and maintain regulatory confidence.

    The business is privately owned, internationally established, and following a clear growth trajectory supported by continued investment in sales and go to market functions.


    The Role:


    The Business Development Representative will play a key role in driving new revenue by building and qualifying pipeline for the wider Sales organisation.

    This is an outbound focused role suited to a commercially minded individual who wants increased ownership beyond entry level lead generation.

    The role offers clear progression into full cycle sales, account management, or senior business development positions.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Proactively identify, engage, and qualify new B2B prospects through outbound activityOwn early stage discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, buying intent, and solution fitConvert engaged prospects into sales qualified opportunities aligned to defined criteriaBuild and maintain a consistent, high quality pipeline to support revenue targetsWork closely with Sales to ensure effective handover of qualified opportunitiesPartner with Marketing on campaign follow up, events, and webinar engagementConduct account and market research to identify decision makers and tailor outreachMaintain accurate and disciplined CRM management

    Key Requirements:

    Experience in business development, outbound sales, or lead qualification is advantageousStrong commercial awareness with the ability to engage senior stakeholders confidentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable operating in a target driven, outbound environmentExperience using CRM systems and modern sales toolsSelf motivated, resilient, and accountable for outcomesExposure to B2B software or regulated industries is beneficial but not essentialDegree level education is desirable but not requiredFor the right candidate salary is £35-40K + £20K OTE with clear career progression within a growing international software business.
