An opportunity has arisen to join our staff team as a Pupil Care and Welfare Officer.


You will work as part of our Pupil Support Faculty and alongside our existing Attendance & Family Engagement and Inclusion Officers.


As the successful post-holder, you will build positive relationships with young people to help them to ensure they attend and are supported to participate in school life.


The Individual:


The role requires a restorative, compassionate practitioner who is positive and solution-focused, who understands and has experience of engaging and working successfully with young people.


You will work in close collaboration with Principal Teachers of Support in identifying and engaging with those young people and families in need of support.


Some home visits and regular discussion with parents and families may be required as part of the support offered to young people.
