    The role:


    The Head Chef is a key member of our culinary team who has the experience and enthusiasm to build and lead a team to create and deliver award-winning food.

    This role involves managing the team, coordinating with the planning and operations departments, and executing menus to meet and exceed client expectations.

    You will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.

    Heres what youll be doing:

    Kitchen Management:
    Manage all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.

    Staff Supervision :
    Lead and motivate a team of culinary professionals, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient performance.

    Inventory Management :
    Oversee inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to maximize profitability while minimising waste.

    Food Safety and Compliance :
    Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Implement and enforce proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.

    Event Coordination :

    Coordinate with planning and event design as well as logistics and any other relevant staff to ensure seamless execution of our catering delivery.


    Budgeting and Cost Control :
    Manage budgets for food costs, labour, and overhead expenses. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs without sacrificing quality. Using and updating Regency to drive cost efficiency. Looking at a weekly budget.

    Quality Management System Compliance :
    Leading the kitchen team on all QMS compliance and updating all administration as required

    Working Pattern:
    40 hours a week, 5 days out of 7

    Skills & Qualifications:
    Culinary Experience recent experience of a similar role

    Self-Motivated and Creative:
    Demonstrates proactivity and leadership in a results-driven environment.

    Menu Development:
    expertise in developing creative and innovative menus tailed to client preferences.
    Driving license is compulsory
