Senior Leadership Team and all Academy Staff

The Principal is accountable to the CEO for ensuring the educational success of their academy within the framework of their individual academy's strategic plans. They will provide professional leadership and management of their individual academy and must establish a culture that promotes excellence, equality and high expectations of all students, whilst contributing to the success of all students within Leger Education Trust.
The role is to represent the vision and leadership for the academy enabling children and staff to achieve effective learning through ensuring outstanding education provision; and to inspire and influence others within and beyond the academy.
As an Academy, we are committed to becoming a 'truly great school' in every aspect and we believe that quality teaching first will ensure students make excellent progress.
We pride ourselves on the atmosphere and ethos around the Academy. Our expectations of our students and also ourselves are high, and as a result we are looking for a particular individual who can meet these expectations.

The Principal will:

Be an inspirational and visionary leader
Evaluate academy performance and identify priorities for improvement
Impact on the quality of teaching and students' achievements
Promote excellence, equality, and high expectations
Effectively work with the Academy Governing Body, CEO and Executive Leadership Team
Secure the commitment of the wider community
Influence and shape the teaching profession
Principals are required to carry out their professional duties in accordance with the current Academy Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document and Teachers' Standards at all times.

Required from September 2023 or January 2024, Campsmount Academy Board of Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic, motivated and committed leader who can deliver transformative school improvement.
