Purpose


An Energy Lead role supports customers in establishing energy monitoring and targeting programs, following up reports provided by Cloudfm technology and tracking performance.

Subsequently, you'll provide identification and recommendation for no-cost, low-cost as well as investment ideas for energy conservation.


Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of customer awarded projects including management and reporting of said projects against demand reduction and return on investment projections.

Projects may include but are not limited to:

  • Energy Audits
  • Behaviour modification and awareness programs
  • Technical solutions such as LED replacements, variable speed drives, condensing boilers, photovoltaic, etc.)
  • Supporting asset optimisation/Capital Investment recommendations from energy efficiency viewpoint.
  • Furnish customers' procurement teams with relevant energy information as required
  • Support customers in their environmental and legal reporting through ESOS, ISO50001 compliance
  • Develop training material for customers around sustainability (e.g. carbon management planning, Net Zero) and technical training (e.g. FM training programmes, controls awareness and adjustment)
  • Where relevant, utilise experience and our IoT data to encourage behavioural change across customer's estates
  • Work with the IoT data analyst to report against consumption benchmarks in line with industry standards
  • Work alongside mechanical experts within the business to better understand the assets under our supervision

Specialist knowledge and qualifications

  • Significant experience within the energy and sustainability industry
  • Knowledge of legal and best practice sustainability reporting (ESOS, ISO50001, Net Zero strategies
  • Knowledge of, but not limited to:
  • Energy and water Audit requirements,
  • Display Energy Certification (DECs),
  • Energy Performance Certification (EPCs),
  • TM 44 Air conditioning Inspections,
  • Heat Decarbonation Plans (HDPs)
