Lead Biophysics Scientist - Southampton, United Kingdom - Atomic Talent
Description
We are looking for a capable and erudite biophysics scientist to join our cancer research biotech in Southampton. We have significant VC funding to help drive the development of our intracellular screening platform.This is a rare opportunity to lead a small, growing biophysics team who are collaborating with a big pharma R&D world leader.
Support the chemistry and biology teams by working across multiple projects.Focus on researching protein-ligand interactions.
Drive company progress in line with key project milestones.
Embedded in high performing labs with the option to use the University facilities.
We are looking for someone with a PhD in biophysics, biochemistry or similar field and track record of publications and showcasing your work at conferences.
Drug discovery experience at a biotech or pharma company is essential to excel in this role.This is a Lead Scientist position, and we can offer £50,000 - £60,000 + performance bonus, 25 days holiday, 7% pension and more benefits which can be discussed at selection stage.
