OCR Alpha have partnered with a leading global Hedge Fund in hiring an exceptional candidate for it's Product Specialist team.

The company stands as a prominent player in the alternative asset management landscape globally, operating from key hubs in New York and London.

With approximately $25bn in AUM, they offer diverse asset management solutions to a widespread investor community through a multi-strategy model.

The Portfolio Specialists act as intermediaries connecting the investment teams with clients worldwide.

Collaborating closely with analysts, traders, and risk professionals, they leverage their profound comprehension of products and markets to streamline the investment process and convey insights about global markets to the firms partners, both internally and externally.

This position marks an expansion opportunity within the London team, entailing direct collaboration with senior sales and fundraising professionals as the investor base expands in Europe.

Developing and nurturing an in-depth understanding of fund performance and positioning at both macro and micro levels.

Conducting research on fund and position advancements for internal communications, addressing client queries, investor correspondence, and eventually engaging directly with investors.

Participating in regular internal meetings with investment teams, organizing and cataloguing pertinent information, and aligning qualitative insights with available quantitative data.

2+ years of experience in alternative investments (hedge funds, private equity), institutional asset management, or within a sell-side institution.
