    We wish to recruit an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our fantastic team at our busy but friendly practice based in Chaddesden.

    This position will be working alongside our 8 General Practitioners and 1 Advanced Clinical Practitioner. We have over 11,000 patients and a branch site in Spondon village just 3 miles away. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly. You will also be required to manage your own workload and keep calm and courteous under pressure. Our practice uses TPP SystmOne and our last CQC rating was good. The salary for this position is negotiable depending upon experience.

    The post holder must have a qualified independent prescriber qualification and experience working as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner.

    The post is a full time position over 4 or 5 days.

    Main duties of the job

    Practice Nurse Experience is essential and key duties will include:

  • Chronic Disease Management
  • Cervical cytology
  • Immunisation and vaccinations
  • Contraception and sexual health
  • Travel
  • NHS Health Checks
  • Ear Syringing
  • Prior experience of working with SystmOne clinical system would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given, so a willingness and ability to learn quickly will be key to your success in this role.

We have astrong ethos of teachingand training and have two GP registrars and regular medical students. We havetrained multiple Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Clinical Practitioners and anIndependent Prescribing Pharmacist.
