    Job Summary

    This Company is seeking for a Mechanical Engineers (Gas Turbine) with hands-on experience to work in Mechanical Services Shops Department (MSSD) / HIT & Contractor Operations Division with experience in leading power generation companies (GE, Siemens, MHI, BH) and high proficiency in maintenance and operation of gas and steam turbines (heavy duty) to work in Dhahran Shops. MSSD has state-of-the-art workshops and facilities that are driven by our most valuable asset which is the department's skilled and experienced workforce. Its primary responsibility is to maintain This Company's rotating and stationary equipment. The department plays a vital role in the company as it provides support to all field organizations by maintaining and repairing corporate equipment. Once qualified for the position, you will be at the heart of one of the most advanced energy companies around the globe.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Consult on normal and emergency plant maintenance procedures and standards.
    2. Offer technical support for daily maintenance and machine shop operations.
    3. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment.
    4. Troubleshoot, repair, and modify existing equipment while identifying cost reductions and process improvements.
    5. Introduce and implement the latest technology in repair methods.
    6. Design engineering packages as needed.
    7. Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to junior engineers.
    8. Attend vendor and customer exchange meetings.
    9. Participate in standards value engineering efforts.

    Requirements:

    • This role requires the candidate to permanently relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in the mechanical field.
    • Strong background in investigating turbine malfunctions, managing turbine outages, and overseeing field projects.
    • Knowledge of turbine component repair processes and quality control.
    • Experience in mechanical design, troubleshooting, and major repair of oil and gas rotating equipment including Gas and Steam turbines.
    • Experience working with OEM facilities like GE, Siemens, MHI, and BH.
    • Proficiency in English reading and writing.
