    Fleet Manager - LNG/ Dual Fuel Vessel (Based in Cyprus)
    (candidates will need to relocate to Cyprus as this is a permanent role)
    Comaea Consulting has been retained exclusively for a new opportunity with a MNC in the shipping industry.

    As a key person in the Technical Department, you will be in charge of the technical and general management of a fleet of merchant ships and report to the management team.

    Your tasks include budget control, managing repair and maintenance of the vessel assigned, compliance with regulatory requirements and beyond. Take full responsibility for the budgets of assigned ships. Liaise closely with the technical, purchasing, and finance teams to ensure the budget is within the agreed target. Manage dry-docking of the vessels within allotted budget limits.
    Build and maintain close relationships with the clients, ship's crew and ship management teams, and onshore teams.

    Planning and allocation of resources, setting processes, implementing improvement plans in a rigorous and structured way for planned and routine maintenance of the ships under your charge.

    Responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and compliant working environment as per procedure and work towards quality and continuous improvement.

    Development of performing crew teams (onshore and on-board) with a strong focus on quality, safety, operations, and technical excellence.

    You must be a qualified Marine Engineer, or equivalent diploma holder in marine/navigation
    Minimum 7 years of experience in a shore based position as a Senior Superintendent or Technical Manager.
    At least 2 to 3 years' experience working managing LNG or dual fuel vessels as a Senior Superintendent or Technical Manager
    Experience sailing on LNG Vessels at a Senior Rank of Chief Engineer is preferred
    Experience working a Technical or Fleet Manager is preferred
    Experience in managing dry docking at shipyards is required
    Well updated with the latest regulatory requirements and its implementation
