Who You Are
You are an organised individual with previous administrative experience.
You have excellent clerical skills and are able to handle tasks such as maintaining filing systems and providing general clerical support.
You are able to handle telephone enquiries, offer general information regarding the council and services, and greet visitors in a polite and courteous manner.
You must also be committed to the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.What the Job Involves
As a Clerical Officer, you will provide clerical and administration support to the Registered Manager at our Madeline McKenna Care Home in Widnes.
The role includes tasks such as ordering and issuing stationery and equipment, ensuring parcel deliveries are receipted accordingly, and assisting with arranging meetings.
You will also handle data entry for frontline services, issue receipts for provided activities, handle room bookings, and manage post distribution and collection.
This role requires working two days a week, Monday and Tuesday, being stationed at the office reception, and it involves greeting the public, answering phone calls, and entering data.
