An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Respiratory Clinical Lead to join the Community Respiratory Team.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced clinician with a respiratory interest to join our existing multi-disciplinary team to deliver both planned and unplanned care.

This role is open to Registered Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics.

We are an innovative team whose ethos is working collaboratively to deliver patient centred care. This post offers a high level of professional support, with a strong focus on Professional Development.

The Respiratory team provides care across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset therefore you must be adaptable to the needs of the service and staff across the BNSSG area.

The community respiratory team currently provides a 7-day service including weekends and bank holiday cover.

To be responsible for the clinical management of the team and to provide direct and indirect line management.

This post will focus on clinical quality, service improvement, clinical governance & innovation, clinical incidents & risk management within the service.

The post holder will also provide operational leadership; developing long term condition management within community services and ensuring commissioned targets & Key Performance Indicators are met.

As a respiratory specialist clinician, the post holder will provide highly expert assessment and treatment programmes for patients with respiratory conditions.

Supporting staff within the team and wider community to manage patients with respiratory disease effectively.
