    Are you an experienced and passionate real estate solicitor, legal executive or licenced conveyancer looking to take on a new challenge within a very friendly and established high street practice in a major town in Suffolk?

    My long-standing client is seeking an individual to lead their busy conveyancing department. This is a key hire due to retirement and you will have considerable autonomy but with the fully support of the Partners and management.

    This well-established and profitable high street law firm enjoys a a rich history of serving the local community where their commitment to providing quality legal services has made them a trusted name in the region. Offering a wide range of high street legal services to clients, the property department plays a key role in their success.

    This role is to supervise / manage a very capable small conveyancing team to include two qualified fee earners and further paralegal and admin support. There are established relationships with the local estate agents and lenders where you and your team will service and advise clients on conveyancing transactions to include:

  • Sales & Purchases
  • Freehold and leasehold
  • Shared ownership
  • Right to buy
  • Remortgages
  • Transfer of Equity As the senior member of the team, you will be encouraged to take a lead in building on the already established relationships with the agents and offering support and guidance to your team. It is hoped that the successful applicant will be:
  • Qualified lawyer dealing with property law
  • Proven experience in supervising a conveyancing team
  • Thorough knowledge of real estate law and the local market
  • Light commercial conveyancing would be advantageous but not essential As a smaller size firm, they offer an extremely friendly, happy and welcoming working environment that should not go unnoticed as they have an impressive retention of staff at all levels.
