  • To give you some idea of the scale of our operation, over half of our 30,000 employees work in our supply chains.   • We operate Guinness packaging facilities at Marshalls Road in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Runcorn, in North West England, producing canned, bottled and kegged product for Ireland, UK and export markets. Significant investment is underway at both of these locations.
  • This role is site based at Runcorn which is an 18 Acre site running a 24/7 Operation with 4 rotational crews. It has 2 Bottling, 2 Canning lines and 1 Kegging production line. There are 90+ SKUs with 16 different Beer/Liquid types covering producing on average 23million cases of product per annum.
  • About this rolePackaging Team Leader is responsible for all aspects of line production, shift team management and engagement. Actively spending 80% of the time on shop floor, you'll lead the high level of day to day complexities in a complex and busy operational environment to deliver high quality products in a safe manner to plan. This will need a welldeveloped understanding of the future demand on their lines or area.
  • You will be a groundbreaking and inspirational leader who is passionate about driving dedication and a continuous improvement culture where people are highly engaged, and manufacturing excellence is at the forefront of how we do business.
  • You'll be a selfmotivated leader, create energy and motivation in your team and deliver stretching plans to service our customers. With high levels of growth anticipated across categories, you'll be instrumental in implementing the strategic plan for liquid packaging, ensuring that a successful growth agenda is built on strong organisational change principals.
  • Other key responsibilities for this role will be interpreting production plan schedule requirements and organising and deploying people, plant and material resources to implement the plan. You will prepare and lead Site briefings, daily start of shift meetings and weekly performance based team meetings using visual management; ensuring participation, contribution and feedback from all team members and support staff.
  • It would be beneficial if you have demonstrable experience working in a similar FMCG environment. Although this is not essential.
