Sales Estimator

Willenhall

Permanent

8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum
35 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
Are you an experienced Sales Estimator from an engineering background? Are you looking for a new permanent opportunity with an established firm?

On offer is the opportunity to join an independent business that has been established for over 100 years and experts in their own market.

You will be working in a small team, and the go-to person for all quotes and orders.

Duties and responsibilities:

Obtaining prices/availability from suppliers to prepare cost estimates
Obtaining subcontract prices
Preparing quotes for existing and new customers
Logging enquiries for repeat and new work
Advising customer queries on delivery dates for existing orders
Entering new orders/schedules in an order book, to include raising and sending order acknowledgements
Maintain and develop new clients
Follow up on quotes provided
Negotiate prices with new and existing clients
Must have proven experience as a Sales Estimator or a similar role
Keen eye for detail is essential
Excellent negotiation skills
Background in Engineering, ideally HNC or HND qualified
Ability to read engineering drawings
