Clinical Negligence Associate 3+ PQE - Cambridge


A leading global firm seeks an Associate to join their team in Cambridge working on NHS Resolution clinical negligence claims and inquests.

This is a great opportunity to join a highly reputable Division, ranked in the top tier for Defendant Clinical Negligence in both Chambers and Legal 500.


THE FIRM

THE TEAM


The global healthcare team is unrivalled and work on many high-profile and landmark cases, with expertise across UK, Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Latin America.

The team advise the NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts and medical malpractice insurers of private hospitals, clinics and practitioners on EL/PL and clinical negligence claims.

They also advise on medical insurance coverage, health law advice and regulatory matters and represent clients at inquests and judicial reviews.


THE OPPORTUNITY

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Qualified Solicitor with minimum 3 PQE or CILEX qualified with the relevant experience
  • Previous claims and inquest experience
  • Previous client contact and attendance at business development events
  • Knowledge of insurance and coverage issues

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Hybrid working with up to 40% home working
  • Salary commensurate with experience c. 70k+
