What will I be doing?
We're working to improve the lives of people in Somerset - and you'll be a key part of that.

Your day-to-day work will involve:

  • Working with managers to improve financial controls
  • Identifying improvements and efficiencies, driving forward implementation
  • Checking third party claims and grant claims

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be.

But it will really help if you:

  • Have experience of Financial/Budget monitoring
  • Have worked in a finance environment and dealing with complex accounting and statutory reporting issues
  • Are a natural communicator with the ability to build relationships with staff at all levels
